New to Country Dancing??? We have several great competitions just for you!
Just for fun dances on Sunday!
Know a dance group that has a formation team! Tell them about our charity event: Group Club Challenge! All for a good cause!
UCWDC competition has a syllabus division for the brand new dancer. Dance with your teacher or partner. Pure social dancing with base figures, no costumes (you don't even need boots or a hat). The base figures are on line at www.ucwdc.org.
We also have a newcomer category which does not require boots or hat. This level is slightly higher than syllabus and is great for someone who has been dancing for a while but has not competed. Contact your teacher or contact us and we will provide you with a list of the local teacers who will be attending our event. What a great way to sample the fun. Did you know competitive dancing helps you to have a goal for your dancing? You will see a huge improvement in your dancing due the goal you have set to dance at a comp. Enjoy the fun and see your dancing skyrocket!
We also have a just for fun competitions. Grab your favorite partner and come out on the floor. Last year we had many dancers enjoying this event.

Not a competitor, plan to come and dance all weekend. We also need you to be there and cheer on your friends who do compete. It means so much for them to have people in the audience cheering for them!

Our Mission Statement
It is our goal for the New England Dance Festival to help country dance, line dance, and swing dance grow by offering an event where all dancers (new and experienced) can come together and enjoy dancing. New England Dance Festival will provide professionals the opportunity to showcase their talents whether it be through a workshop, competing, performing or just being out there on dancing with everyone. The more fun we all have the more we will want to go out dancing which will help boost the local venues so we can continue to have lots of great places to dance! Everybody wins! Prepare to have a awesome time.
